If you prefer to stay at a condo resort over a hotel but don’t want to compromise on water fun for the whole family, then the Honua Kai Resort will not disappoint.
The family pool is located at the heart of the Aquatic Playground. It features a 100-foot slide, waterfalls, hot tubs, and a fountain-dotted splash area.
In front of the Hokulani tower, there’s an infinity-edge pool, perfect for swimming laps. It also features a shallow area for kids to play. At the foot of the Konea tower, you’ll find a quiet pool as well as a lazy river.
There are also 3 pools and hot tubs in the Luana section but those are only accessible to guests of these garden villas.
8. The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas

11. Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club


fThe resort’s main pool complex, the Lagoon Pool, is located in front of the original towers and is the center of the action. It comprises several freeform pools that are interconnected by waterfalls, a grotto, and a small water slide. It’s also equipped with a volleyball net.
Little ones will have a blast at the aquatic playground with its climbable pirate ship with mini slides.
Two more pools can be found in front of the newer resort towers. Both are smaller, more tranquil and come with a poolside bar.
Note that the resort’s older Molokai, Maui, and Lanai towers will be undergoing renovations from June 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.

Hale Manu Mele is an Ohana, a secondary dwelling located on the property of a local family. The tropical garden is shared with the owners, who live in the main house. The bed and breakfast is located in a convivial family community called Maui Meadows, nestled on the slopes of the Haleakala and just uphill from Wailea.
