This small-scale resort is located in the center of Kihei action, with shops, bakeries, and restaurants around the corner. But you really couldn’t tell because this vacation rental is tucked away in a private corner of this intimate resort.
It also looks out over the golden sands of Kam II Beach, one of the rare lifeguarded beaches on the island. This convenient and privileged location makes Anchor Cove one of the best Maui beachfront rentals for families.
2. Luxurious corner residence with a huge lanai
Check out the expansive wrap-around lanai of one of the most upscale beachfront rentals in Maui. What an amazing place to take in the panoramic ocean views. Why book a whale-watching cruise when you can watch these giants breach from the comfort of your lanai?

If an oceanfront penthouse is what you’re looking for, then you’re in for a treat.
Both the living area and kitchen offer the most amazing views. All three bedrooms come with comfortable beds, high-quality linens, and an ensuite bathroom. The interior is neutrally toned and modern. This unit is very well stocked and comes with premium finishes and luxury amenities.
The outdoor living area of this Maui beach condo is just as spacious as the indoor area. Two generously sized oceanfront lanais offer front-row seats to the sunset.

This beautiful 2-bedroom condo features a cozy open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen. Each bedroom connects to a contemporary ensuite bathroom. The shaded lanai with its outdoor dining table is the perfect place to start your day.
Hale Hui Kai is an intimate and low-key beachfront condo resort located right on the golden sands of Keawakapu Beach. It’s an amazing location right in between the South Maui communities of Kihei and Wailea. Shops and restaurants can all be found nearby.
This is one of the very few units in this resort that has been completely renovated. Note that air conditioning is available in the living area only and that the bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans.
14. Oceanview condo in the heart of Kaanapali
This welcoming condo features 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms as well as an open-plan living area with a fully-equipped kitchen and a queen sleeper sofa. The dining area offers views of both the ocean and the West Maui mountains.
This unit is part of the Kaanapali Alii resort which features manicured tropical gardens, a beautiful swimming pool, a grilling area, a spa, a gym, and tennis courts.
Kaanapali Alii enjoys a privileged location near a wide section of Kaanapali Beach. The Kaanapali Beach Walk wraps around it. The resort is just steps away from the shops and restaurants of Whalers Village and from the golf courses.

15. Oceanfront condo in West Maui with beach cabana
Last on this list of beach vacation rentals in Maui is this contemporary condo. At first glance, it may not seem like a beachfront condo. But if you look closely, you’ll see that the only thing separating this unit from the golden sands of Kaanapali Beach is a small golf course. If anything, it makes this vacation rental a bit more private without compromising on beach accessibility.
Plus, there’s a private beach cabana for guests of this resort and golf cart service straight to it. And that’s why I chose to include it in this selection of Maui condo rentals on the beach.
There are two bedrooms, one with a king and one with two queen beds, and the living room is equipped with a queen sleeper sofa. The two bathrooms have been completely updated and are in excellent condition.
The neutrally-toned beach-style interior feels clean and fresh. Floor-to-ceiling windows give the open-plan living area with its well-stocked modern kitchen an indoor-outdoor feel. A wrap-around lanai completes the stylish picture.
Maui Eldorado is perfectly located just north of Black Rock, a prime snorkeling site. The Kaanapali Board Walk allows for easy access to Whaler’s Village and the resorts south of Black Rock as well as to the beautiful northern end of Kaanapali Beach. That means miles of beaches on either side.

Where are the best beaches in Maui?
There are many beautiful beaches along the West and South Maui coastlines. But in general, the longest stretches of Maui beaches for swimming and snorkeling can be found in West Maui while the most scenic Maui beaches are located in South Maui. There are of course exceptions to the rule.

Note that swimming and snorkeling conditions tend to be best in the morning. Throughout the day, it gets windier and the ocean gets somewhat choppier (perfect for boogie-boarding).
